In 2008, I found My Creative Classroom. MCC was an online education site dedicated to hosting interactive, online workshops. I had the privileged of working with creative instructors and students from around the world. In 2014, after dealing with a number of health issues and industry changes, I made the difficult decision to close MCC.
It was both the easiest and hardest decision of my life. Hard because of everything we built. I know how disappointed the teachers and students were to see the site close. Easy because I knew it was the right decision. I knew I could not longer maintain the site properly. And I had a real desire assist more teachers and reach more students.
In the summer of 2014 we turned the page to the next chapter of this journey and created Craft Classes Online. I can now focus on helping more creative instructors and spending more time in the classroom.
My mission with this blog is pretty simple:
- Inspire you to make creativity a daily priority.... or weekly/monthly if that works for you.
- Motivate you to use all of the wonderful supplies you have collected over the years.
- Explore the concept of creativity and practical ways for adding more creativity to our lives.
- Finding ways to lose the perfectionism, comparison and pressure that are creativity killers.
- And finally.....offer a few workshops along the way.
I am honored that you have decided to join me on this creativity journey. Be sure to let me know if you have any questions.
Happy Crafting,
Jeri'
