Blog Vacation

Hey Crafters,

I don't often discuss my private life at work, I prefer to keep things as separate as I can.  Unfortunately sometimes life throws you a big old dose of realty.  Over the last year I have dealing with some ongoing health issues.  Running a full time business has certainly made my efforts to get well more difficult.  I realize now that I need to take some time and really focus on healing.  Over the next couple of weeks we will be revealing some much needed changes we will be making at My Creative Classroom to lighten my load.

I had hoped to continue blogging over the summer, but that has turned out to be wishful thinking.  So I will be taking the summer off as we make changes and revamp MCC.  I will miss the creative energy I gained from my blog posting, but I know I have been struggling to meet my goals on a weekly basis.  And I HATE feeling like I am doing things half way.  I will be taking the rest of the summer off so I can focus on my health and the changes to MCC.

I hope each of you continues your journey to use your 'stuff'.  And I will see you right back here in September with new challenges, videos and inspiration.

Sincerely,
Jeri Parks

  1. Relax and take care of yourself. As a retired teacher and a person who has had health issues as well, I know how healing a summer can be. Make whatever changes you need - we'll all still be here in the fall!

    1. Thank you Melissa. Just knowing I have the summer off is a HUGE help. But still I miss everyone. LOL! That is how it goes.

  3. I'm thrilled you recognize the need to take care of yourself! It just seems that working moms take a lot longer to get to that point than anyone else. I deal with chronic health issues everyday and it is exhausting so I can certainly empathize. I hope you have a healing summer. We'll be here when you get back!
