If you are like me….you probably have a lot of ink pads….in a lot of colors. There are so many different kinds of ink and each performs a different job. So you end up with multiple colors in different types of ink.
So how do you find the perfect color when you need it? For example, I probably have 15 different colors of green inks. Some are chalk ink, some are dye ink, while still others are pigment ink. The list goes on and on. In the past I would get out several inks I ‘thought’ might work and then test each one. For each project I would repeat the process.
Not an efficient process. LOL! Always looking for ways to improve, I created a system for storing inks samples so I could use them over and over again. And just because I love my readers I decided to share. :)
If you have been following me for awhile you have probably heard me talk about this system before, but I know we have newbies here and it has been such a hit with my students I decided to post it again.
Do you have a system for organizing your ink? How do you find what you need for each project? And if you are really brave, how many ink pads do you own?

I did it! I made my own "ring of ink" and put it on a clip-up thingie so I can attach it to the hanging basket that is right over my work space. Love it!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I can honestly say I use it every time I sit down to craft. :)
